There are serious dollars to be saved by decoupling agency work in addition to improving the coordination of your partner.

Organizations that are not on the same platform, but need to engage with multiple agencies in real-time, can suffer confusion, communication and coordination issues which can become overwhelming. Compounding that with contracts that originate in procurement instead of marketing and other factors, it's amazing that projects get out on time.

We’re planning to walk through our journey that started with a simple financial goal but concluded with a Digital Asset Management solution.

John Florance

DAM Practice Manager at Risetime

John has been managing and designing production workflows for over twenty years. He got his start in publishing by helping businesses and associations move from typesetting into desktop publishing. This led to careers centered around database publishing, process color separating, XML-based editorial workflows and eventually, digital asset management. Media asset management is his platform of choice for developing digital workflows built on top of a variety of disruptive technologies. Today, John consults on media management as part of Risetime, a Chicago-based company that specializes in managed services on both public and private clouds, and designs best in class digital workflows to rescue struggling DAMs. In his free time, John collaboratively founded both the Artesia and Media Manager User Community, comprised of DAM professionals that use the OpenText DAM products, as well as the Midwest Digital Asset Managers Meetup.
